Q: What is the maximum amount of power I can use in an aircraft?
A: All current aircraft will emit 75 watts of power. If your laptop is above this limit you may not be able to use the aircrafts power through Teleadapt Inflight Power Adapter. You can try to remove the laptop battery, which may reduce the wattage requirement and allow you to use your laptop onboard. Obviously it will not charge the battery.

Q: How do I connect my laptop to the Inflight Power Adapter?
A: There are two ways to connect up. The first is via the power transformer block, where the cables are provided for this. The other is to connect you mains power plug directly into the unit. You may need an adapter as the Inflight Power Adapter has either a Euro or US socket.

Q: What if I change my laptop?
A: No problem! There are currently 3 different fittings on power blocks, cloverleaf, figure 8 and a new fitting on Dell computers. You can also connect up the main unit with your power plug if you have a different fitting on your power block.

Q: Where can I purchase the Inflight Power Adapter from?
A: The product is available directly through TeleAdapt, or sold on board various airlines (e.g. British Airways). The Inflight Power Adapter is also available in some Tax Free stores. Q: Which aircraft can I use the Inflight Power Adapter in?
A: All aircraft that have the standard EM power fitting. Please note that Boeing 777 aircraft do not accept the Euro version of the Inflight Power Adapter.

Q: Can I use the Inflight Power Adapter in a car or boat?
A: You can connect the Inflight Power Adapter up via any cigarette socket using the included plug.

Q: Can my laptop be damaged by a rise in voltage?
A: There currently have been no reports of damage to laptops with this product.

Q: What is the weight of the product?
A: The product weighs less than 250gr or 1lb.

Q: The computer mains power plug does not fit into the unit.
A: You can use an adapter to convert the pins. These are available to purchase direct from TeleAdapt.

Q: What airlines will accept usage of the product?
A: Most airlines will allow you to use the product. It has been known that some airlines prefer that you use their own product. This is down to the airline trying to sell their version, rather than any safety issues.

Q: What other electrical items can I use with the product?
A: Any electrical product where the power requirement is under 100 watts.

The power cords provided do not fit into the laptop's power block/transformer?
A: The inflight power pack contains adapters for the following connections: Fig-8, Cloverleaf and Dell D-series (horizontal 3-pin adapter). This covers most laptops. In case you do encounter a problem then please let us know.
